Easter Candy/Item collection for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt

It is the Lenten season and that means the Annual Easter Egg Hunt for our church's children is coming up on Sunday, March 31, 2024 9:45am.

We are asking for donations of nut and chocolate free candy, individually wrapped for our plastic easter eggs. We will gladly accept small non-food items that can fit in the eggs such as erasers, stickers, fun temporary tattoos, etc. We do not need easter eggs or baskets.

There will be a large basket in the narthex decorate for Easter where you can place your donations.

Thank you in advance!

Thank you to Carly and Shane Gaugler who sold homemade bracelets throughout the last several weeks and raised nearly $200 for the church. We appreciate your enthusiasm for St. John's!

Sometimes Life Can Get A Little...MESSY!

The good news is, Jesus loves messy people!  Whether you're 5, 45, or 105, we all have our own messes. What a Mess! VBS is about how Jesus deals with our messes; our sins, mistakes, and weaknesses. Throughout the week we will look at the following questions:

  • Why is the world such a messy place?

  • How does Jesus respond to our messiest moments?

  • How should we respond to our messes?

  • What does Jesus do about our messes?

  • What about other people’s messes?

All the while, we are going to have lots of messy fun, with messy snacks, games, crafts, and more!
